Lewis Spurgin works for Open Ownership’s technical partner, Open Data Services. He provides analytical and policy support, and contributes towards the development and implementation of the Beneficial Ownership Data Standard.
Lewis has extensive experience in generating, analysing, visualising and publishing large and complex datasets. As an academic, his research used mathematical modelling alongside experimental and field data to address a range of questions in biology.
Then later, as an epidemiologist in local government, he worked at the interface between data and policy, including in the COVID-19 response. Lewis has a PhD in population biology from the University of East Anglia. He lives and works in Norwich, UK
