Join Thom Townsend and others for this high-level interactive debate represented by UNDP, the Government of Norway, Transparency International, UNODC, The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), and Global Financial Integrity, aims to assess the current progress, gaps, and challenges in addressing a range of issues on financial integrity, including tax transparency, fiscal transparency, procurement and contact transparency, and beneficial ownership transparency.

This exciting session is organised by Open Ownership within the Opening Extractives programme, and will feature speakers from Extractives Industries Transparency Initiative, Dixi Group Ukraine, Natural Resource Governance Institute, International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, the Ghana Anti-Corruption Commission and Government of Zambia. The Opening Extractives programme will also launch its Peer Learning Programme for Beneficial Ownership Practitioners.

Though predominantly an in-person event in Washington D.C., those interested can register for the online elements of the conference.
