There are multiple opportunities to meet the Open Ownership (OO) team at the Eleventh Conference of the States Parties (CoSP11) to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). We will share the full conference agenda and side events agenda when they are published.

1) Lightning talk at Civil Society Preparatory Day

Phoebe Williams, OO’s Advocacy Associate, will share insights on the work by States parties to implement Resolution 10/6, and how civil society can monitor and promote effective action on the Resolution at the CoSP11 civil society day.
2) Side event: DLT and Open Data: Driving transparent governance

OO’s Executive Director, Thom Townsend, is part of a side event which will explore how open data and DLTs (Distributed Ledger Technologies) can drive transparent and accountable governance, showcasing how innovation and data integrity strengthen public trust and enable more effective, data-driven decision-making.
This session is organised by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Accountability State Authority of Egypt and INTOSAI Egypt.
3) Side event: Out of the grey zone: The role of professional service providers

4) Side event: Beneficial ownership transparency: From commitment to impact
- Thursday, 18 December 2025

Beneficial ownership transparency is a key tool in the global fight against corruption. States parties, international organisations, and civil society will join to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps in implementing impactful beneficial ownership reforms in line with global commitments.
This side event is organised by OO in partnership with the Government of Armenia, the Government of Indonesia, the Government of Malta, the Government of Nigeria, UNODC and the Knowledge Hub for Regional Anti-Corruption and Good Governance Collaboration.
5) Side event: Real estate and beneficial ownership transparency
- Thursday, 18 December 2025

This session will focus on illicit financial flows in the real estate sector, highlighting beneficial ownership transparency as an essential tool for tackling this problem, and providing a platform for cross-regional dialogue on challenges, what works, and opportunities to collaborate.
The side event is organised by the United Kingdom: Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Department for Business & Trade, and includes speakers from the Republic of South Africa Department of International Relations & Cooperation, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development as well as from OO.
6) Philippines side event: Public procurement transparency

OO is proud to be part of a side event by the Procurement Service – Department for Budget Management (PS-DBM) of the Government of the Philippines on public procurement transparency.
