UK beneficial ownership (BO) register reveals surrogacy agency uses nominee structures in corporate secrecy jurisdiction to obscure beneficial owners
UK BO register showed that a UK company associated with a surrogacy agency carrying out allegedly unlawful activities in the UK is controlled through nominee firms in a Pacific secrecy jurisdiction. The named beneficial owner is reportedly an airport driver with a recent drug conviction, and the registered address is used by more than 4,400 companies.
