An Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project investigation identified one of Georgia's wealthiest businessmen as the undisclosed beneficial owner of offshore companies holding exclusive electricity transit contracts – ownership that had not been previously visible. Cross-referencing public BO data enabled journalists to make the connection.
