Summary
This progress report documents the second year of the Opening Extractives programme’s implementation across 11 countries. Over the last year, Opening Extractives has enabled governments and companies to disclose high-quality beneficial ownership data through targeted technical assistance to support countries in pursuing their reform agendas. It has helped maintain political commitment to technical reform, and it has supported stakeholders to deliver beneficial ownership registers; create the right legislation where needed; and build the capacity of those tasked with implementing reforms.
