Commitment details

  • As an Extractives Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) member, Senegal has committed to beneficial ownership transparency for the extractives sector. [25 February 2016]
  • Senegal issued Presidential Decree 2020-791 in March 2020 to create a legal obligation on the government to establish an electronic register of beneficial ownership information of companies active in the extractive sector [02 March 2020]
